March 16, 2008, Sunday, the most awaited fight of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez has finally fall out. Of course the whole Philippines is so concerned and focused on this fight, and just like the rest of the previous fights of Manny the whole country seem to be in halt – no traffic, zero crime rate, no work and what’s most?!! Even Davao City’s Araw ng Dabaw Parade Festival has moved to the next day because of this (yah I think so I’m sure this is the reason!)
I saw the whole fight..of course! I especially want to see this fight because I really want to witness the final judgment of this fight once and for all. You know, their fight four years ago when they a “draw” result from the judges, I mean, I’m sorry but personally, I’m not convinced with decision. I may not be so knowledgeable when in terms of scoring in boxing, but with three times Manny knocked off Marquez during the early rounds and not to mention all the points he did, I think he already won over Marquez. Anyway, this Part II of their fight today, the match finished up to the last round and both fighters have their own cuts and bleeding though Marquez’s worse. And when the announcer declares the winner saying “The NEW world champion” I saw Marquez’s face and the rest of his team shocked and they seem to be disappointed with the decision. I don’t know but it’s like they are doubting the scoring or results or whatever, but I mean.. hello?! Do we still need a Los Angeles probate lawyer to certify and make this thing official, or someone who has extensive expertise in judging?

US astronomers have discovered the biggest black hole orbiting a star 1.8 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Cassiopeia, with a record-setting mass of 24 to 33 times that of our Sun, NASA said Tuesday.
The massive newcomer beats the previous stellar-mass black hole discovered October 17 in the M33 galaxy that has 16 times the mass of our Sun, the
US space agency said.
Like the much larger, supermassive black holes found at galaxy centers, stellar-mass black holes have such powerful gravity fields that not even light can escape them. Astronomers estimate their mass by measuring their gas emissions and the gravitational effect on the stars they orbit.
“We weren’t expecting to find a stellar-mass black hole this massive,” says Andrea Prestwich of the
Harvard-Smithsonian
Center for Astrophysics in
Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Lead author of the discovery paper in the November 1 Astrophysical Journal Letters, Prestwich and his team found the new stellar-mass black hole using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory.
“We now know that black holes that form from dying stars can be much larger than we had realized,” he added.
Prestwich’s team was able to measure the black hole’s mass because it has an orbiting companion: a hot, highly evolved star. The star is ejecting gas in the form of a wind.
Some of this material spirals toward the black hole, heats up, and gives off powerful X-rays before crossing the point of no return.

I’m wondering why the hell people are questioning on the winning of Miss Japan!! I mean..c’mon..she will never win if the doesn’t deserve it or if she does not have the qualities of being a winner. Actually being a candidate alone in Miss Universe pageant means you are one of the best, but out of that best there should be only one sole survivor… right Mr. Jeff Probst?
I don’t know but just for me, I think we need to have a new winner – I mean it’s always been the Latinas won the pageant. Don’t you think it’s high time to have an Asian winner?!
Anyways, i still haven’t watched the pageant itself but i don’t care to all of those who are resentful to Ms. Mori but one thing i knew is that….. i love japan!!!!
